This radio comes in the original plastic hard case with the manual and other documents. I received it from an estate sale and was told that the original owner had barely used it if at all, and this appears to be true from the pristine visual condition of the radio and all included components. The sticker is still on the speaker like it is new! Everything looks close to mint, with only minor imperfections which might be able to be cleaned off and don’t appear to affect function in any way. Functionally, everything appears to work well according to my limited knowledge of radios. I put batteries in the radio, it turns on, the screen works, the seek and change frequency buttons work, the built-in antenna extends smoothly and is not bent or damaged. Just by itself, the radio picks up signal and I could hear music from various stations. I also put batteries in the longer external antenna and connected it to the radio, and that also works and makes the audio signal clearer than it was otherwise. There was noticeable crackle in the signal, but I would attribute that to us living very close to the Everglades, where both radio and internet connectivity is bad.
